November Random Car Stuff

Winter has been surprisingly busy with just a bunch of random car stuff. It started off with FINALLY getting some sort of aero on my car. I came upon an authentic L Sportline bumper with RMM side skirts for a decent price. It was already GGP and I jumped on it. Upon receiving them I learned that the paint was rough and the bumper had actually been repaired. I took the car to Revamp Auto and Jorge was able to mostly fix the bumper as well as repainting it, the side skirts and my busted ass hood for a reasonable price. It's far from perfect but it’s way better. The L Sportline is very subtle and I think the car looks too high on 18s. I’d also like a more trackable setup so I’ll be switching wheels. Looking at 17x9 +35 Advan TC-4s on a 255 tire.

The weekend after Thanksgiving brought out a few meet/toy drives. The first of which was hosted by PlayedOut and Antiphobia at AT230 Cars & Coffee. It’s such a cool spot and a brilliant business idea. Love that place.

The houndstooth pattern on these Recaros really does something for me. I dig it.

By far my favorite Eva in SoCal, maybe the whole US. Glad it made it’s way over from Hawaii.

The famous Yuzupra back from SEMA and sporting its new Kuhl wide body tucked into the side lot. It blew my mind how many cars they were able to squeeze in there.

I’ve never been really into VIP cars but for some reason they’ve been growing on me lately. I think it’s my girlfriend Natalie’s fault. This IS on Bazreias was clean.

After we wrapped up at AT230 we cruised back down to Orange County to Beautific Studios Toys N Tats event. Front and center was Mike Power’s FD S15. The event was super chill, raised some toys for the kids, and had some flash tattoos available. Natalie wound up coming home with a cute little cat.

You know I’m not gonna see a JZX and not shoot it.

Matt from Position Advance brought out his track spec GR86. I love the look of this thing with the Exceed aero + RS Future GT Wing.

The legends Joey and Der were in attendance. I love EKs and will regret selling mine until I get another one. Der’s is one of my all-time favorites.

Joey Lee’s now famous $50 S2000. I entered to win this car. After seeing everything that Joey has done to it since he got it, I’m not even mad it went to him. It looks really great with the BYS lip.

I didn’t shoot a ton at these two meets but enjoyed both and had a good time just going out for a Sunday drive.
