Charitable December Meets

I don’t do car stuff every weekend. When I do it’s rare that I hit multiple events in one weekend. Three is unheard of. But that’s just what happened here. It started out on Saturday evening in Burbank with the premiere of the Porsche Rally short film Nocturne by Evan Pollock at the Sigma HQ. For those that don’t know, my “day job” is in the commercial photography world. In that I work with a lot of cinematographers and absolutely love to check out the work of other high end creatives. The people who threw this event, and attended it were all incredible. I felt truly humbled.

This Safari Nissan Patrol was so badass. The owner is driving from Washington to La Paz. Big jealous.

I don’t really post much truck stuff here but maybe I’ll do more. I brought it to this meet. On the freeway between Long Beach and LA I spotted this Defender. As it would turn out, we were heading to the same place and it’s owned by Mikey Zeller who is an absolutely insanely talented cinematographer.

This safari style 944 was the star of the short film. I like the forged carbon bits.

Sunday morning started off with the GR Movement toy drive car show at Longo Toyota. Had a chance to catch up with Mike, Mr. Boss Boss himself and chat about his A90. Still one of my favorite time attack builds in the states.

I got parked in the Lexus section in between a bunch of VIP cars that made me feel like a monster truck. lol.

Despite the Toyota dealership being the host and organized by GR Movement, this was an all makes and models event and it brought out some real bangers. Case in point, this NSX.

Truly one of California’s best cars.

This S2000 was at Wekfest but I didn’t get a good look at it. It’s got so many great details and is very well executed. The NDF Bride seats are *chef’s kiss* and the color choice works really well.

Natalie loves E30s, and honestly, most older cars so any time we run into an older BMW, it get’s shot. This one was super clean.

This LS500 on BBS LMs was parked next to me and one best Lexus of the show. Very well deserved and really makes me want a VIP build.

This Century was SO DAMN CLEAN. It really blew my mind. Lower it a bit more and rebuild those Emitz to a more aggressive spec and it would be a real neck breaker.

From Longo we cruised down to Greddy for their annual holiday food drive and were greeted by three thick Lex’s.

Some nice race car stuff on this S14.

EF Civics generally aren’t my thing but wow, this thing was immaculate.

Doggo!

I love VS-KFs but I hate all things Supreme. Conflicting.

Always love seeing this Kouki S14.
