JimmyUp Matsuri 2024

September was a brutal one for me. I had about 3.5 weeks of back to back travel shoots, including an insane experience in Greenland, but I have been meaning to get back out to the track and the Jimmy Up Matsuri was the perfect excuse. The event saw a nice mix of cars, great driving, and blazing temperatures.

Unfortunately for me(for several reasons), one of my oldest friends since moving to Los Angeles is moving to Boston and a going away shindig was on deck for the same day so I was only able to shoot the first half of the day but I was still able to walk away satisfied with what I shot.

I spent a significant portion of my time there shooting video. I’m hoping to put together a little edit but no promises. Video is something I’m trying to focus on for the coming months so if that’s your thing, stay tuned. As usual, the rest of the gallery is below.
