Weakest LA 2024

Wekfest is an event that I always look forward to but unfortunately, have been on shoots when it came along so I’ve had to miss it. Luckily this year’s lined up perfectly with my schedule so Natalie and I cruised up to LA to check it out.

I probably shouldn’t be but I was surprised by the number of R34s in attendance. This Bayside was one of my favorites.

Hakos are just absolutely beautiful cars. I get excited every time I see this thing.

I will never not take a picture of a JZX100 Chaser. Absolutely love these things.

The Battlecraft / Chronicles / Vortex GR86 Street Version II was one something I was very much looking forward to seeing. I’ve considered buying a GR86 on several occasions. Props to this team for building an amazing example. The best looking 86 in the states as far as I’m concerned. I was even lucky enough to get there early enough to score a Battlecraft shift knob for the IS.

I’m a simple dude. I see an RWB, I take a picture of it.

I’m glad we were able to make it to Wekfest this year. Part of me wishes I would have taken the trip up to Laguna Seca for Gridlife but the quality of cars made it worthwhile. All we’ve really got left on deck this year is Formula D Irwindale and SEMA.
