Hot Pit Round 2

Jeff Jones’ Hotpit Auto Fest hosted their second round of drifting competition at the Orange Show Speedway in San Bernardino California on May 6, 2023. This was my second time at Hot Pit, and the first this year. Being that the event took place in early May, it was significantly cooler than my previous trip to Orange Show and I will also say that the level of driving has significantly elevated.

The event saw the likes of FD’s Rome Charpentier, Sam Maghmoumi, and Brandon Wicknick (who I still miss being in FD) plus a host of other drivers battling it out on Orange Show’s banked course.

In the end Rome, Sam and TJ Hunt wound up taking home the hardware. It was a solid day of drifting and I’m looking forward to the next round(which will surely be hot as hell).
